Philosophy

I see people become overwhelmed by the idea of their own money - where it should go, how much they owe, how much they need - so they ignore it. It makes sense. It’s scary. The stakes are high, and very few of us received adequate financial education in school.

I also see plenty of people online offering quick fixes for money problems: forex traders selling you their course, old-school coaches telling everyone to stop buying coffee to achieve their financial dreams, real estate agents touting first-time homebuyer perks that lock you into a mortgage you can’t afford, the list goes on.

But the truth is, money matters are not as complicated as they seem. You won’t get ahead with cheat codes, but you will get ahead with knowledge. I happen to have a degree in finance, but in reality, you don’t need a degree to understand how to make your money work for you. My education has given me the knowledge base to have a lot of answers around money and, when I don’t have the answers, speak the language of money so that I can demystify it for others.

If you feel like your finances are out of control, I have good news: money is completely controllable. It doesn’t do anything we don’t tell it to do. Gaining control of your money is not easy, but it is simple. A money plan that relies on systems and automation is far easier to implement and sustain than one that relies on management and self-discipline. Rather than trying to radically change your behavior to achieve your financial goals, we will create a set of systems that lead to behavior change.

What to expect

What you can expect from me is a practical, no-judgment approach. In our no-cost initial discovery call, I will ask you to describe your financial situation. What are your pain points? What are your fears? What are your hopes? What are your dreams?

We can’t address a problem we aren’t aware of, so, together, we will take a realistic look at your assets, debts, income, and expenses. Whatever problems do arise, know that there is a solution. We are here to find it together.

From there, I will tailor my approach based on your unique situation, goals, and level of comfort with your finances. As we resolve pain points and areas of confusion, we will incorporate positive systems and habits that get you closer to living the life you want.

Whether you are looking to create a budget you can stick to, pay down your debts faster, build a safety net, grow your money through investment, plan for a big purchase, or something else, I am here to guide you through the financial tools and techniques that will help you reach your goals and avoid financial pitfalls.

My objective is not to tell you what you should do with your money. My objective is to partner with you to create a sustainable plan that leaves you unafraid and in total control of your money. I want you to feel empowered, through knowledge and practice, to make choices with your money that are in alignment with your values and support your long-term goals.
